The Jazz Guitar Life Podcast: Ep 8 Featuring Royce Campbell

Hey Jazz Guitar Lifers and welcome to the eighth Jazz Guitar Life podcast! This episode features the renowned and well respected Jazz Guitarist Royce Campbell. Jazz Guitar Life had the pleasure of interviewing Royce once before which you can read here!

In this conversation we chat about his work with famed composer Henry Mancini, a little of his background and his wonderful Tribute recroding to Wes Montgomery featuring Cal Collins, Herb Ellis, Tal Farlow and Jimmy Raney! A great CD which you can listen to below. It’s an entertaining listen and I hope you all enjoy it.

Also…be sure to stick around to the end where you’ll get to hear the tune “Wes” written by Royce. It’s a great tune and Jazz Guitar Life is grateful to Royce for giving us permission to feature it on the podcast. Also…Royce shares with us a very interesting tidbit that to my knowledge, nobody was aware of prior to this chat 🙂

So sit back, grab a beverage of choice and enjoy the words and music of Royce Campbell!
