The New Jersey Performing Arts Center – in association with the TD Jazz Series – presents an evening to remember as they bring the Legendary George Benson to the stage on June 2, 2023. We – at Jazz Guitar Life – look fondly upon Mr. Benson as one of the dignitaries of Jazz Guitar, but “…jazz guitar is only the beginning for George. A relentless shapeshifter, he’s equally imaginative playing pop, R&B and soul—and equally talented as a vocalist, composer and songwriter. No fan will want to miss this evening with the NEA Jazz Master, ten-time GRAMMY® winner and creator of too-many-to-count albums. Now in the seventh decade of his recording career (which started at age nine), George Benson continues to dazzle audiences around the world and right here at NJPAC.” (source)
