The Jazz Guitar Life Podcast: Ep23 – Andreas Varady: From Adolescent Dreams to Creative Maturity

Andreas Varady is a young Jazz Guitarist in his mid 20’s who has been on teh scene since the tender of age of 12 under the guidance of folks like Quincy Jones, George Benson and Martin Taylor to name but a few. I had the pleasure of interviewing Andreas when he was 14 and figured it was time to see what he was up to a decade or so later. Turns out he has a new album that was just released – Sunrise – and he’s sounding and writing better than ever.

We had a great chat and he went into a lot of stuff about his early days and what he’s been up to recently. Plus there are a few susprises that you may not know about Andreas. Oh…and be sure to stick around to the end of the podcast as Andreas offers up a tune from his latest release. I think you just might dig it!

And if interested, click here for the original interview done “back-in-the-day”.

Enjoy 🙂
