The Jazz Guitar Life Podcast: Ep 7 Featuring David K. Israel

Jazz Guitar Life sat down (via ZOOM) with Composer, Producer, Screenwriter and Author David K. Israel to talk about his early association, friendship and collaboration with the late, great Pat Martino. An informative, entertaining and personal chat which gives one an insight into a world we rarely get to see much less live.

And don’t forget to stick around to the end of the podcast as David K. Israel has graciously offered a rare demo track titled “Duet #7” between himself and Pat Martino for us all to listen to. It’s a most interesting collaboration between Dave and Pat and one that I was most excited to hear. Enjoy 🙂

  1. Wonderful informative program. I also studied with Pat in the early 1970’s. David K Israel is clearly a thoughtful and very talented person. The sensitive interviewing style enabled it to be the fascinating program that it was.

    • Hi Stuart and thank you so much for your wonderful comment and kind words. Very cool that you also studied with Mr. Martino in the 70’s. That must have been something special.

      Thanks again and take care.

      All the best.
